The play moved me to my soul – as it will do to you.

Hard to help the chills when, in the face of the Spaniards’ cruelty, they sing “Love is stronger than death,” or exclaim: The mestizo history of Boriken will live on forever. —JONATHAN MANDELL, NEW YORK THEATRE

I'm Not Dreaming is as achingly tender a ballad I've heard all year.

A Story of Forbidden Love

Temple of the Souls  is a magical musical of star-crossed lovers transported back in time.  This tale reveals the true history of America and its Taino people, through an unforgettable score and beautiful story of a love that is stronger than death.

A modern day tour guide leads visitors through sacred grounds in an ancient cave inhabited by Taíno spirits, the indigenous people who once ruled the island. Two tourists are magically transported back in time as star-crossed lovers, Guario, a young Taíno runaway, and Amada, the daughter of a Conquistador. They meet at the joyous San Juan Bautista Fiesta, which quickly turns to a carnival of danger as they face racism and greed. Their love is stronger than death, and they escape to the top of El Yunque rain forest and the Temple of the Souls, where nightmares and dreams come true.
